The Best Self-Care Affirmations



Affirmations are a powerful tool.  The best self-care affirmations for your self-care journey are simple, positive statements declaring specific goals in their completed states.  Affirmations (also called mantras) can have profound effects on the conscious and unconscious mind.  Daily affirmations are to the mind what exercise is to the body. Repeating affirmations helps to reprogram the unconscious mind for success.  It helps eliminate negative and limiting beliefs, enables you to replace “I can’t” with “I can,” and your fears and doubts with confidence and certainty. If you find yourself tending towards negativity or questioning the time you are spending on self-care pull out these affirmations and spend some time repeating them.  They can be very effective in helping you transform how you see and think of yourself

Affirmations work by allowing you to focus on what it is you actually want, rather than what you don’t want or what you are missing.  You can determine the best way to use these that fits within your lifestyle.  I prefer to start my day with affirmations by repeating one every morning as I am getting ready. At first, it may feel strange to say affirmations to yourself and it may be difficult to really believe they’re true.

If that’s the case, try beginning each sentence with I choose, I choose to or I choose to be. Another option is to write them down.. By practicing saying or writing these affirmations regularly, you can build a more positive mindset.  

Affirmations will help condition your mind to help you gain a more positive outlook on life.
